I was amaze and impressed when i opened the jar and saw how creamy and smooth the product was. I really like how it absorbs immediately on my hair and my daughter hair. I plan to order this a lot in the future.
I really enjoy using the twisting cream. During the colder weather, I've found that a butter is the only way to go. Although my strands are medium to fine, it's pretty dense, kinky and tight.
At first, I found the cream to a bit grainy (I generally do not use shea butter) but after rubbing in into my finger tips, it softened and applied easily to the hair. I generally wear my hair in twists & twist-outs so I can tell when a butter is going to work from the first application. Once again, Mrs 22nd Century did not disappoint. What I wasn't prepared for was the amount of softness & moisture that was still in the twists when I took it down 3 days later (no re-moisturizing in between).
Using this line, I feel like my hair's finally on the right track, thank you.
Light weight and love how it work tight curly hair.
My hair Loves this cream. It’s very hydrating and tames well. It smells great and even can be used on your body. I went through my hair supply closet and have bagged up all the previous supplies I purchased and have instead of throwing it away donate to the Haven for battered women. I really thought nothing was better than Shea Moisture Products, But I have been proved to be wrong!! In this case I will admit I was wrong , which surprises my husband.
I do not twist my hair but I bought it to use as a sealant for my leave in conditioner. It is very nourishing, if you have dry hair you will notice a difference immediately. One thing is that for my type of hair, I have to use very little of it otherwise my hair will be really greasy.
