SHAMPOO BAR INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions to Use Shampoo Bar

*Keep shampoo bar on a soap drainer

Please Note: There is usually an adjustment period of about 1 month on chemically treated hair, hair that was treated with "cones," and plastics when using natural products.

Wash hair with this bar every time hair is: Too flat with heavy oils or butters, smelly hair, itchy scalp, scalp gunk, flaky dandruff, or you just want to start with a fresh head of hair.

“As long as you are living, your hair can grow. It is usually what you are putting on it that counts.”

White Film in hair definition= Sebum and Product buildup from not washing frequently enough with moisturizing products. Once a week is highly recommended as these products are not harsh and stripping but will clean your hair and scalp well.

Step 1: Part hair into 4 sections for thin to medium hair. For thick hair, part into 6 to 9 sections. (If hair is naturally straight this step can be omitted.) For intense shine, apply small amount of your favorite oil to each section before wetting hair.

Step 2: Wet hair section thoroughly.

Step 3: Wet shampoo bar.

Step 4: Light Dirty Hair (light oil, use natural gels, etc., no dandruff): Rub shampoo bar in hand, apply sudsy fingers to wet scalp section. Rub gently up and down in all directions. Take left over suds and apply half way down length. Note: When hair is rinsed, suds from the scalp will run down hair length and clean the ends.  If this does not clean your hair, proceed to the next instruction.  Rinse sections well. After rinsing, apply your favorite conditioner. Rinse and style as usual.   If you have fine virgin or thin fragile strands, proceed to condition with a regular protein conditioner.  If you do high heat, heavy combing, chemically treated hair, and brushing, etc., proceed with an Intense Protein Conditioner.

Medium Dirty Hair (light scalp gunk, light dandruff, oils and butters on hair length, unnatural products): Rub wet bar all over hair roots and scalp. Rub scalp gently up and down until scalp is clean. Apply more for scalp gunk. Take remaining suds and go half way down the hair length.

Heavy Dirty Hair (heavy sebum (white film, sticky, and waxy when abundant through out scalp and on hair while washing it.  This makes it hard to produce suds with the shampoo bar), oily scalp, heavy dandruff, scalp gunk (Product mixture and skin cells left for long periods of time), heavy oils and butters, heavy unnatural product usage, cones etc.): Rub wet bar on scalp, roots, down hair length and stop before reaching ends. Apply more for scalp gunk and oily scalp. Work lather gently through the scalp and down the hair.  Rinse sections well. After rinsing, apply your favorite conditioner. Rinse and style as usual.   If you have fine virgin strands proceed to condition with a regular protein conditioner.  If you do high heat, heavy combing, chemically treated hair, and brushing, etc., proceed with an Intense Protein Conditioner.  Please Note:  If you experience heavy sebum on the hair after washing, it is due to not washing the hair frequently.  Proceed to try our "Amazing Clay Wash," which does an amazing job at ridding the hair and scalp of bi-weekly and monthly buildup.  We recommend using the shampoo bar at least weekly. If you produce low sebum and use little product on your hair, you may be able to use this bar bi-weekly.
